NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF STEEL DISTRIBUTORS - INDA

The National Institute of Steel Distributors – INDA is a non-profit association that congregates distributors of flat and long steel products, undertaking the promotion of use of steel as its main goal.

In order to meet its goals and facilitate bringing the products closer to the market, the INDA promotes sectorial studies and publishes specialized technical articles regarding products and processes adding value to steel.

Among the varied services offered to its members, the INDA supplies steel purchase, sales and inventory statistics, performance analysis of consuming sectors, e-clipping, courses on issues of specific interest to the distribution network and their business impact. It also publishes “Revista Brasileira do Aço” (Brazilian Steel Magazine), which brings relevant information for all distribution businesses.

Small and medium steel structure producers depend on broader sales capilarity, and faster, more flexible service, in order to enforce steel construction. Distributors play a key role in the understanding of such needs.

It is up to the distributors to be familiar with and promote the features of the products they sell.
